JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Pediatric Specialty Sales Rep in Therapeutic Nutrition Sales is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Nutrition products in hospitals and office settings. Specific emphasis will be on Children' s Hospitals, Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Pediatric Allergists and Pediatricians with a focus on leading specialized nutrition brands such as, ELECARE, PediaSure, and PediaSure Peptide. This position will be responsible for Sacramento, Fresno, Bakersfield, and Reno.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Full ownership of hospital and office accounts
- Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals
- Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan
- Deliver clinical and scientific benefits and information in a sales environment by comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines
- Work effectively with Clinical Nutrition Managers, Discharge Planners, Dietitians, HMEs and Physicians
- Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
- Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strategic account planning experience
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must live in either Sacramento or Fresno. Relocation is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of sales experience is required
- Selling experience across a wide range of Health Care Practitioners in Hospital Setting and Office environment
- Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape within this specific territory.
- Clinical/Healthcare sales experience is a plus (RN/RD)
