Description

The Quality Officer (QO) is responsible for the quality and compliance performance of one or multiple Liquid manufacturing lines. He/she is responsible for continuous improvement on these aspects for the specific line(s) and provides support and coaching to the production teams in terms of quality and compliance.

Tasks and responsibilities

The Quality Officer;

• is the quality expert of the manufacturing line(s)
• trains and coaches the production team in handling the production processes in a controlled way
• analyses and assesses quality deviations and subsequently determines appropriate next steps such that quality is guaranteed and product can be released on time.
• ensures timely and correct implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from a quality defect
• is responsible for the documentation and complaints of the manufacturing line(s)
• is the liaison/linking pin with the Quality Assurance department for his/her manufacturing line(s)

Knowledge

• HBO bachelor’s degree
• Knowledgeable with statistics and quality improvement techniques
• Good knowledge of English with excellent writing skills
• Preferably experience in working with production teams with a focus on quality
• Preferably experience in food/medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing
