The opportunity:

The position of QC Technician is within our Cardiometabolic Unit located in Oslo, Norway. This role includes performing and documenting control / testing of products within the QC department’s area of responsibility. You will actively contribute to continuous improvement of the company's processes and systems by focusing on eliminating waste and creating optimal process flow.

What You'll Do:

· 
Perform and document quality control of product within the department’s responsibility.

· 
Responsible for own analyses, results and tasks

· 
Perform tasks and report own results in accordance with established plans and systems for goal management.

· 
If applicable, guide others in relation to their own responsibilities and duties

· 
Contribute to the daily tasks in the department.

· 
Responsibility for specific tasks will be reflected in the employee’s training plan.

· 
Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business.

· 
The work is largely governed by regulations and procedures, as well as the company's overall quality system.

· 
The work shall be carried out in accordance with current guidelines and deadlines.

· 
Can to some extent prioritize his/her work in agreement with the manager.

 

Qualifications

· 
High School Diploma (Vgs/yrkesfaglig utdanning) and 2-5 years of relevant experience

· 
Experience from analysis / quality control / laboratory work.

· 
Good IT skills.

· 
Education within chemistry / biochemistry incl. lab / analyzing

· 
Knowledge of GMP / GLP

Personal competences

· 
Good communication skills in writing and orally, both in Norwegian and English.

· 
Good ability to follow process and work independently.

· 
Good ability to analyze.

· 
Good documentation skills.

· 
Precise and systematic.
