The Opportunity   

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location (Abbott Diagnostics GmbH) for the European Distribution Center.   (Internal Titel: Project Manager EDC)

The position will be preliminary limited to 2 years.

What You’ll Do   

·  Manage/Coordinate projects across multiple cross functional areas and Distribution that have major impact to EDC’s (European Distribution Center) long range business strategy (including Project structuring, planning, investment cost estimation and project implementation)
·  Complete capacity and operations projects related to storage, conveyors, qualifications, suppliers/commodities.
·  Support CAPEX projects and related administration from order to cash at the EDC Warehouse
·  Makes sure the portfolio enhances organizational strategy through successful, consistent, and predictable delivery of programs, projects, and applications
·  Continuous support of all departments to guarantee an optimized process flow, considering budget, process capabilities and economic efficiency
·  Development and definition of standards in all areas, as well as long-range planning for all infrastructure, buildings and systems

Your Qualifications  

·  Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Economics background or a discipline closely related scope
·  Fluent English language and negotiation skills; Very good German language skills are preferred
·  First working experience in Project Management in Operations, Quality or Engineering
·  Good communication and organization skills
·  Capability to lead project team(s) and to execute tasks in time
·  Good moderation and presentation skills
·  Successful track record of leading projects
·  Results-oriented and independent way of working in cooperation with different areas
