JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Production Trainer (2nd shift) to train technical job skills & process revisions and evaluates technical skills of production employees. Administers assessment instruments and technical job certification process in assembly/production areas. Trains core production modules, maintains employee skills and training records.

Accountability

  • Provide technical job skills instructional training and administer job certification process to new and existing production operators
  • Partners with engineering and/or training to support the development of Training Certifications
    • Review and update Training Certifications as appropriate
  • Maintain required training records including employee training, completion, certification, and compliance in production and training data bases
    • Run training reports as necessary
  • Perform regular audits of personnel to verify compliance to manufacturing procedures, GMP and quality requirements
  • Review & revise Manufacturing Processes and train new processes and process revisions
  • Assists supervisor with other tasks required as necessary
  • Deliver primary technical training to new employees to assist them in attaining all applicable certifications
  • Deliver timely follow-up and refresher training to cell team members to attain/maintain applicable certification/re-certification for successful and uninterrupted cell production
  • Participate in the continuous development of the training program in conjunction with the Training Coordinator and the implementation of training principles to assure the quality and consistency of training provided to all trainees is maintained
  • Maintain all applicable personal certifications and follow all of the job documentation requirements for the cell team member
  • Support process and product development activities
  • Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Computer skills desired in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with others is critical
  • High school degree or equivalent

Your preferred qualifications and education:

  • 2-5 years' experience in a medical device (catheter) manufacturing environment
  • Prefer two years of college or equivalent
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have good communication skills
    • Must have the ability to read and interpret written documentation
  • Desired demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, assembly, and production technical skills, and quality practices
  • Prefer previous training in a medical device manufacturing environment
