Position Overview:

Part of the Commercial Excellence team , the Partnership Manager is responsible for building strategic partnerships with external stakeholders (professional and patient associations, companies, industry associations) that result in the accelerated adoption of Abbott Diabetes Care products.

Responsibilities :

· 
Accountable for delivering partnership agreements and programs with external stakeholders.  

· 
Deep understand ADC’s strategic vision, customer needs, and external stakeholder priorities.  Ability to identify gaps and opportunities within the diabetes management community.

· 
Develops and maintains extensive relationships within the diabetes management community.

· 
Appropriately gather market intelligence and information to support the overall business strategy.

· 
Serves as a resource for commercial teams regarding KOL landscape and expertise within the diabetes management community.

· 
Works with global teams to localize global agreements and initiatives. 

· 
Bring new innovative partnership that will continue to position ADC as a leader in the diabetes space

· 
Manages a partnership opportunity pipeline with opportunities at various phases of development.

Required Education and Experience:

· 
Bachelor degree is required, in Business or Technology field. MBA is an asset.

· 
Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or partnership role;

· 
Experience in Marketing or similar strategic role;

· 
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at the C-Suite level.

Required Skills and Abilities:

· 
Strong verbal and written communicator.  Ability to communicate with colleagues, senior management and partners.

· 
Ability to identify strategically aligned opportunities with external partners, engage at multiple levels, and pull through complex agreements.

· 
Highly developed and demonstrated teamwork skills.

· 
Self-starting and able to adapt work priorities in response to complex or changing environment.

· 
Project Management, analytical, and team leadership skills.

· 
Ability to lead in a fast paced, changing environment with shifting priorities.

· 
Ability to coordinate the efforts of large cross-functional teams.

· 
Facilitation and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to resolve conflicts and develop win-win relationships with other organizations.

· 
Intermediate skills: IsoTrain, Sharepoint, Microstrategy, SFDC.

· 
This position may require up to 40% travel.
