Status: Full-Time/Permanent (Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm)

Position Overview:

The Lifetimes Operator works as part of a dedicated laboratory group to test medical device products across the product shelf-life. The operator will adhere to safety procedures and process documentation to prepare aqueous and blood samples, test cartridges and transmit test results.

Responsibilities:

Testing and stability testing based on approved protocols.

Organizing and keeping track of experiments and fluids in fridges.

Other job-related tasks as necessary.  In order to perform testing, you will be required to use in house data collection and summary programs such as ISD, SENDIT, ISTATS, WINISD, EGRESS and ProbeTrak.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

A mechanical aptitude and good organizational skills

A keen interest in continuous learning

Experience running cartridges and dealing with blood is preferred

Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry and/or phlebotomy experience would be considered an asset

Personal attributes: professionalism, adaptability, approachability, enthusiasm, excellent attention to detail, self-motivated, shows initiative and can work effectively as part of a team. 

You must be a self-starter and have the ability to follow instructions and use good judgement. The individual must be flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
