The Opportunity
The position of Laboratory Production Chemist / Engineer is within our Cardiometabolic Unit located in Oslo, Norway .
In this role you will be a part of our Technical Production team responsible for producing materials for our diagnostics tests. You will be working independently but also support ongoing projects when required.
This is a temporary position with duration to end of 2024, with opening for extension and/or permanent placement.
What You’ll Do:
· Independently produce materials for our diagnostics tests in accordance with our quality standards.
· Responsibility to carry out assigned tasks linked to the production, while supporting other team members when needed.
· Documentation of the production process in alignment with current procedures.
· Keep the manager informed of nonconformities in routines and processes in production and other quality related issues.
· Contribute in project work as required.
Qualifications:
· Technical College degree in process chemistry or equivalent and
3-5 years of experience from relevant work, preferable from a chemical production environment.
or
· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biochemistry/process chemistry, or College of Engineering, and
Preferable 1-3 years of experience from relevant work, preferable from Pharmaceutical Production.
· Competence with various manufacturing process technologies within organic synthesis including commonly used purification- and analytical techniques is desirable.
Personal competencies:
· Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
· Good communication skills in writing and orally, both in Norwegian and English
· Self-motivated and driven personality with the ability to work systematically and accurately.
