We are looking for a Label Coordinator (Global Labeling Operations) to join our team in Zwolle
Global Labeling Operations (GLO) is a cross functional organization and part of the Quality Assurance Division of Abbott Nutrition. GLO EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) is responsible for the label design and content of all nutritional products manufactured across the globe and sold in the commercial region EMEA. Quality is our number one focus and in close collaboration with marketing, regulatory and nutrition science we optimize our processes and constantly seek the perfect balance between quality and speed-to-market.
Main purpose of role
The Label Coordinator serves as the primary reference for product labeling and as such evaluates proposed labeling changes and implements the changes, develops primary and secondary product labels as prioritized by appointed steering committee and process and project management group.
Your profile
The label coordinator is the primary contact within the working team (EMEA Labeling Manager, GLO Team lead, Desktop Publisher, Affiliate, Area Regulatory Specialist, Process & Project Management Group) for planning, startup and execution of the label development activities through the label quality system and ensures labels are reviewed, approved and completed. You will also serve as primary contact for external translation agency.
Label Coordinator (Global Labeling Operations)
The Label Coordinator is expected to prepare and collect label development information required to initiate label development start-up activities. Complete label development activities required to promote label projects from start to complete.
To be successful in the position of Label Coordinator you will (have):
- The ability to work well as a team player and adapt quickly and effectively to shifting priorities and to effectively communicate with working teams, other functional teams and external suppliers (translation agency).
- Be able to resolve complex situations by applying demonstrated knowledge and skills generally acquired through job experience.
- Apply experience and judgement to make decisions or resolve issues with defined options or processes.
- Independently gathers resources and information needed to complete label projects.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within a multicultural environment.
- English language skills, both written and verbally.
- Ability to adapt and adhere to changing processes and procedures
Educational background and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and intellectual ability;
- Perferable experience in QA policies and/ or Compliance;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in both English & Dutch;
- Experience in people management;
- Preferred Lean Six Sigma trained and Project management skilles/trained;
- MS Office skills;
- Background in the food and/or Pharma Industry is an advantage.
