JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Job Function:

This is a Tax internship position-This position is responsible for completing tax research activities connected with Abbott's international business operations and post-acquisition integration activity.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

This position will assist Abbott's tax attorneys and other Abbott tax professionals in developing the support, defense and documentation of emerging US and foreign tax filing positions. May require developing Excel spreadsheets to support transaction economics.

Position Accountability / Scope:

The position reports to Cyndi Lafuente

Minimum Education:

Undergraduate degree; and,

Currently enrolled in law school.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

Would desire

1. CPA;

2. Undergraduate accounting degree;

3. Law school graduate;

4. LLM/Tax candidate;

5. Accounting firm experience; or,

6. Law firm experience.
