THE OPPORTUNITY

The position is within our Business Unit Infectious Diseases and will work out of our office at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Germany GmbH in Cologne.

As Demand Manager - Western Europe (m/f/d) you will be responsible for gathering and consolidating the future demand for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) products and providing a reliable forecast whilst efficiently running the demand management process for all Western Europe activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·  Generating demand forecast and process custodian to manage sales forecast and business rhythm and contribute to regional BU strategy and business planning.
·  Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Distributors and General Managers to integrate market intelligence, sales of new products into forecast.
·  Liaising with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to highlight relevant information on supply chain changes, product forecast changes and sales trends.
·  Ensuring regional volume and financial forecast integration by calculating, analysing, projecting, and reporting margin in alignment with Finance Department and Demand Management
·  Monitoring country and regional demographics, epidemiology, KOLs, and other sources of information for proper demand development.
·  Developing and continuously improving standards and processes to ensure that demand planning process is efficient and changing business requirements will be met.
·  Managing and maintaining master data continuously and according to the life cycle of individual products.

QALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

·  Successfully completed university degree, ideally with a focus on supply chain management/logistics/operations management.
·  Very good knowledge of Excel.
·  Strong analytical skills.
·  Process affinity and conceptual thinking and acting.
·  Very good communication and influencing skills.
·  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to balance between challenge and acceptance.
·  Excellent written and spoken English skills.
