Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Objectives:
- Support demand and inventory management/process in APAC Affiliates
- Accountable for weekly Demand Execution review and actions plan.
- Accountable for monthly Forecast Roll review and update.
- Ensure adequate supply of inventory in Affiliates to support demand plan.
- Maintain proper record of import and export documentation for Abbott Diabetes Care Singapore
Responsibilities:
Demand Management
- Generate forecast plan reports and analyze demand trends and changes
- Highlight and investigate exceptions (e.g. abnormal demand trends, supply issues)
- Perform gap analysis on forecast plan between Demand Forecast (‘Logility’/SAP IBP) and Financial Forecast systems
- Update forecast plan to Logility/SAP IBP as requested
- Publish official forecast plan to APAC Area team
- Track Affiliate’s actual shipment/orders vs forecast plan and identify sales gaps
- Drive weekly Demand Execution review with Affiliates and Division for appropriate actions
- Drive monthly Forecast Roll review with Affiliates and prepare updates to Division
- Perform weekly Back Order reporting and risks analysis.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) and End-Of-Life (EOL)
- Coordinate and support NPI and EOL processes
- Coordinate the NPI and EOL review and communicate the status of projects to Affiliates & Area teams
Inventory Management
- Work with Affiliates to review supply plan issued by Global Supply team to identify supply gaps in supporting demand plan
- Work with Order Management team on shipment schedule and prioritization, open POs reconciliation, etc
- Work with freight forwarders and/or warehouse team to track shipment/receiving status
- Review Affiliates inventory DOH and highlight excess/short-dated stocks for disposition
- Review and raise Supply Change Request within planning window
- Facilitate Supply Risk Analysis (SRA) (short term supply operations plan) for Affiliates and Division
- Provide feedback on data accuracy in Global opening inventory report and supply plan, drive to close issues which cause data inaccuracy
- Provide feedback on Supply Exception report to Order Management team
- Act as site co-coordinator for Singapore
- Responsible for the verification and maintenance of import and export records for ADC Singapore
- Represent ADC Singapore in SOP review
- Support audit activities as requested
Business Excellence
- Identify and drive continuous improvement processes within the organization
- Ad-hoc projects in relation to Demand and Inventory Management as assigned.
- Work with IT to ensure data quality and integrity in various reports/systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or Supply Chain
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a demand planning and/or supply chain role with in depth understanding of supply chain operations (demand/supply planning process, logistics knowledge)
Experience in healthcare industry preferred
- Strong teamwork and analytical skills

- Excellent MS Office, ERP and Database skills
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
