The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the CHR Corporate Human Resources division.
The Compensation Administration Specialist provides analytical support and process expertise for compensation programs and processes.
What You’ll Work On
· Performs US job evaluations using such methods as whole job slotting, point factor analysis, market pricing, etc. to assign jobs to grades as well as FLSA analysis; provides feedback/coaching to HR partners on the job evaluation/FLSA process. (30%)
· Manages compensation software that stores job model matches to compensation survey market data. (30%)
· Provides qualitative and quantitative analysis support for compensation programs and projects (e.g., US minimum wage audits, job family market competitiveness analysis, etc.). 20%
· Performs project management of small to mid-size projects or support in larger projects to execute compensation programs/processes (e.g., salary structures, short-term incentives, etc.) 20%
Required Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
· 2-4 years of analytics experience is required, preferably with HR or compensation focus. Advanced coursework in HR/Compensation may be substituted for previous work experience.
· High-level proficiency in Excel is required.
· Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, analytical, and adept at problem-solving, communicating, multitasking, and shifting priorities.
· Ability to follow and interpret established policies and guidelines under general supervision.
· Ability to manage and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of CompAnalyst and Workday is preferred.
· Demonstrated knowledge of human resource laws and policies. Strong knowledge of FLSA is preferred.

The base pay for this position is
$57,300.00 – $114,700.00
