The Opportunity
This position works out of our Plano, Texas location in the Neuromodulation Division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
This role is responsible for analyzing and processing change requests in the designated PLM system, with a focus on document and part changes. This includes communication with change originators on issues identified and how to correct them. The Change Specialist I also assign change implementation tasks, enters information into the ERP system, and releases the change requests for use within the organization.
What You’ll Work On
· Change Order processing and working with change originators (after adequate training); obtains priorities from Group Lead/manager and completes changes submitted from across the organization
· Manages changes in the PLM System
· Analyzes document/part changes (No BOM’s or Routes) for completeness, accuracy and provides feedback to the change originator if issues were identified so they can be corrected and the change resubmitted
· Interacts, assists and coaches change originators to explain basic PLM system functionality and change workflow
· Completes basic document structuring (establish parent/child relationships in PLM system)
· Assigns implementation tasks based on the scope of the change and incorporates changes to the affected documents and parts
· Create document and parts in the PLM and ERP systems
Required Qualifications
· H.S. diploma, plus 1-3 years of related work experience. Associate Degree preferred.
· 1 – 3 years of experience in a Document/Engineering Change Control role, preferably in a regulated industry
· Requires basic Microsoft Office skills
· Must have strong interpersonal skills
· Able to contribute to a department problem-solving team
· Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
· Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with change originators and other change control staff in the organization.
· Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
· Experience working with a PLM system; SAP preferred.
· Applies broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and a general understanding of department fundamentals. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
· Performs routine and non-routine moderately complex assignments using standard methods and sequences. Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements to set processes as directed. Assignments require broad judgment in troubleshooting proven processes as well as the ability to suggest alternatives.

The base pay for this position is
$17.80 – $35.60/hour
