The Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town manufactures FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre system.

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

You will be responsible for implementing and developing the advancement of manufacturing across the organisation through internal & external collaborations, delivering high impact sustainable business results. You will do this by developing, deploying, maintaining and improving BI systems including but not limited to Osi Pi, Power BI, and Cloud Computing.

Key Responsibilities include:

· 
Collaborating with teams and various functional areas to integrate systems to build dashboards and analytics visualisations to improve business performance

· 
Liaising with internal and external teams to resolve and/or facilitate resolution of BI problems including escalate issues when appropriate and/or implementing corrective actions.

· 
Developing and maintaining documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of BI systems.

· 
Acting as a change agent implementing business intelligence and industry 4.0 initiatives that are aligned with business strategies to deliver sustained results.

Education and experience :      

· 
Bachelors Degree Manufacturing/Engineering/Analytics/systems qualification or equivalent combination of education and work experience

· 
3 years+ experience in a manufacturing/engineering/analytics/systems/cloud computing environment
