JOB DESCRIPTION:
A fantastic opportunity for a business administrator/coordinator to join a fast-paced, global healthcare organisation.
This role supports the organisation of events, trade shows and meetings for Abbott Vascular across a variety of international countries (focusing on Nordic countries), based from our head office in Maidenhead. You will be joining a growing marketing organization and will work with colleagues that perform the same role for different regions.
Main responsibilities include:
- Events and congress coordination – working with the Marketing team, you will take ownership for the logistics of key events, working to deadlines and mindful of cost savings and budget guidelines, ensuring a seamless and efficient service to all stakeholders. Event attendance (and therefore international travel) may occasionally be required.
- Ownership of the administrative side of Advertising and Promotional spend – to include record keeping, ordering and distribution of materials.
- Maintenance of office administrative procedures, to include vendor correspondence, filing, distribution list updates, record keeping for regulatory/compliance audits.
- Provide administrative support to Region North teams as required.
- General office/clerical duties.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (such as suppliers/agencies), demonstrating superb customer service skills.
- Completing compliance paperwork according to Abbott's procedures in relation to Healthcare Professionals sponsorship.
What you'll need:
- Education to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
- Some prior experience in administrative role/s - we are very flexible on the level of experience
- Good level of initiative
- Organizational skills (incl. prioritization, multitasking and planning of tasks)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Professional manner and strong communication skills
- It would be advantageous but not essential to speak one (or more) Nordic languages
