Status: Full time/2 year Contract

Responsibilities:

Collaborate and coordinate with manual cartridge assembly teams to maximize quality, efficiency and throughput.

Follow engineering instructions as they apply to builds or experiments.

Staff manual line positions as scheduled including chips-to-base, sensor, pouching and boxing, keeping buffers full to support maximum line performance.

Inspect and monitor quality and process rejects in accordance with documented procedures.

Elevate quality and productivity observations to help minimize defects, scrap and maximize throughput.

Deliver accurate, timely, and legible record keeping in compliance with procedures, abiding by GMP standards and practices.

Demonstrate compliant gowning and clean room techniques and maintain a tidy, organized and clean workspace in support of 5s.

Communicate ideas and suggestions for improving the Assembly practices to Assembly Leadership.

Understand and comply with applicable EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines and applicable manufacturing procedures.

Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.

Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School
  • Typically requires 0 - 3+ months of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing in a regulated environment is an asset
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing within a regulated, cGMP environment is an asset.
