Job Purpose and Scope
Product Management for entire Amplatzer product portfolio (ASD / PDA / PFO / LAA)
Core Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for product management for Amplatzer product portfolio
· Manage existing product lines : ASD / PDA (ADO & ADOⅡ). Develop forecast, annual promotional plan, KOL engagement strategy and execute with field sales reps
· Manage 2 new product launches for 2020 : PFO & Piccolo. Develop new product launch plan : market analysis, reimbursement strategy, product positioning & messages, promotional plans, KOL engagement strategy, societies endorsement (CVIT / JPIC)
· Bring new product to the market : LAA. Develop market entry strategies. Work closely with clinical team, regulatory team to execute clinical trials and submit dossier for approval
· Work closely with training team and marketing communication team for congress and customer educational programs
· Work closely with Reimbursement team and Government Affairs (GA) team to obtain adequate reimbursement price
· Understand customer needs and customer insights through market research

Experience Required
· Product manager experience >3 years in foreign based medical device company
· Cather based technologies experience preferred
· Cardiology background preferred
· Experience in new product launch

· Brand new therapy (1st in the market) for secondary prevention stroke device
· Target patient population : 3,500 patients in 5th year (2024) and peak sales of $35 million
· Building a bridge between Neurologists (attending doctor) and Interventional Cardiologist (implanter of PFO) would be the definite key success factor
Piccolo : PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) 動脈管開存症
· Brand new device for PDA device for premature baby less than 2.5kg
· MHLW gave this device as ‘Orphan designation’
· Target patient population : 100-150 babies / year
· Not revenue generating device, but good PR and improve brand image
· Building a bridge between NICU doctors and JPIC implanting doctors would be the success factor
