As a Senior Financial Analyst , you will be a key member of the Shippensburg OEM Finance team , partnering closely with supply chain and operations colleagues to turn data into clear insights and well-informed decisions that support sustainable performance.This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance and operations, collaborating with others, influencing outcomes through insight, and continuously improving how work gets done in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will:
· Lead the analysis, interpretation, and communication of monthly financial results, translating data into clear and meaningful insights for finance, operations, and supply chain partners.
· Support key supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement (kaizen) projects by providing thoughtful financial input, validating business cases, and exploring assumptions to enable balanced investment decisions.
· Manage and support core month-end close activities, helping ensure accurate, timely, and transparent reporting while improving processes and ways of working.
· Develop and maintain KPIs, financial targets, and performance dashboards that give leaders visibility into trends and early indicators, supporting proactive decision-making.
· Design and enhance automated, user-friendly reporting and analysis tools, making information easier to access and freeing time for deeper, value-added analysis.
· Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to support decisions related to cost, margin, and efficiency in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

The Shippensburg OEM Finance team is a close-knit group of six professionals, including financial analysts, controllers, and business partners. Essential requirements:
· Education and finance foundation
You hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field and have a solid understanding of management accounting and financial analysis.
· Relevant professional experience
You bring experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Internal Controls, Cost Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis, with exposure to month-end close and financial reporting.
· Analytical and business-oriented approach
You are comfortable working with data, connecting financial results to operational activities, and using insights to support decisions related to margin, cost, cash flow, and working capital.
· Communication and collaboration skills
You are able to explain financial topics clearly to non-finance colleagues, build positive working relationships across functions, and collaborate effectively in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
· Integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset
You work with strong personal and professional integrity, follow through on commitments, and are motivated to improve processes, controls, and tools over time.
Nice to have:
· Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or an MBA
· Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or familiarity with construction equipment products
· Experience with ERP financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, BCS) and strong Microsoft skills
· Fluency in English (required); additional languages and cross-cultural experience are an advantage
· Experience contributing to automation, process improvement, or change initiatives in process-oriented or customer-focused organizations

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base salary range is set at $83,500 - $103,100, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
