We are looking for an expert Technical PreSales Consultant, committed to work side-by-side with our sellers to bring alevel of technical depth to customer engagements in the area of SCADA and ADMSsoftware. You will be hired with a permanent contract in Milan withinthe Grid Software business unit.

Your Challenge

As Technical Pre Sales Consultantserving Italy, Greece, Malta and Cyprus your mission will be to ensure thatcustomers and prospects fully appreciate our software products by addressingtheir specific business/engineering needs.

Some of the main activities willbe:

  • Regular interactions with existing customers with pro-active visits, educational sessions, seminars and workshops to promote the full and effective use of our software;
  • Value discovery meetings with the sales team and prospects to build a value proposition;
  • Product demonstration that highlights our software capabilities to prospects/customers;
  • Supporting the sales teams in the accurate technical configurations of our offerings to match the full requirements of the customer/prospect.
  • Preparation and execution of pre-sales demos/presentations
  • Participation in meetings with prospects to qualify requirements.
  • Support deal progress together with sales
  • Prepare tender proposals, following all vital internal procedures.
  • Support marketing activities like fairs, web-seminars, seminars
  • Develop a G2M strategy in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.
  • Inspire your team to grow adopting Lean – Agile Approach
  • Help us to improve our inclusive team culture
  • Lead across business ecosystems

To be a perfect fit for this role, youwould already have:

  • Confirmed experience in a similar position possibly in the Utility industry
  • Experience in Italian public tenders and consistent track record in successful bids
  • Experience on SaaS offer
  • Knowledge of software such as SCADA, ADMS, MDM and Grid Planning tools is a differentiator
  • Education background in engineering, physics or similar is preferable
  • Ability to influence the main partners and the Customer’s “Decision makers” enabling them to think innovative
  • High customer orientation and willingness to travel across Italy and abroad.
  • Great team player with target orientation
  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
