What part will you play?

As Senior Brand Strategy Manager (f/m/d) you play a crucial role in shaping the Siemens brand while protecting its heritage of more than 175 years. You will build, leverage, and govern distinctive frameworks that help our brand to stand out, drive coherence and truly empower the organization. This role collaborates with executive and senior partners and requires strong analytical thinking, argumentation skills and the ability to take on complex business questions.

The role is anticipated to be in Munich, but can also work in a European time zone location. It reports to the Head of Brand Strategy, Jan van de Kamp.

  • Brand Development: Build profound brand strategy frameworks, that will empower our organization to activate our brand in a relevant, appealing and differentiating way
  • Mergers, acquisitions, divestments: Contribute to significant revenue streams for Siemens and handle all brand aspects of Siemens M&A activities with trademark license agreements and brand licensing models. Build new brands and strategically position carved-out Siemens businesses
  • Brand Management / Governance: Be responsible for brand management and governance within Siemens AG and across the brand ecosystem, i.e. strategic partner branding, brand licensee governance
  • Preparation of board decisions: Develop and assess branding use cases, prepare briefings and manage projects with internal and external partners
  • Partner management: Align with senior team members from communications, corporate strategy, M&A and legal trademark councils

What you need to make real what matters.
  • Many years of experience in brand management, business strategy and / or M&A within a multinational corporation or consultancy
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of business administration, brand management, strategic marketing or comparable
  • Ability to link the emotional world of branding with facts, figures and complex business models to contribute to crucial business decisions from a brand strategy point of view
  • Proven record of crafting impact by running and implementing brand strategy projects
  • Very strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Inclusive and collaborative teammate with talent to encourage diverse teams, build profound work relationships and argue with senior partner
  • Skills to prepare well-structured decision documents for sophisticated matters
  • Business fluent English skills; other languages are a plus
