This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sales Specialist, Specialty Lab Solutions you will be responsible for: Working in the lab diagnostic sales force to identify new and existing customers who are in the buying cycle for Hemostasis, Hematology and Plasma Proteins equipments for Campania and Puglia regions.
• Works in the lab diagnostic (DX) sales force to identify customers who are in the buying cycle for new equipment. These targets will include both current customers as well as new prospect opportunities.
• Actively identifies new prospects and successfully positions Siemens solutions to win profitable account and drive market share gain.
• Manages installed base of Siemens Systems and increases revenue particularly through penetration with newly launched assays.
• Functions as key sales expert for Hemostasis, Hematology and Plasma Proteins diagnostic towards generalists, enabling customer relations and sales success.
• Coordinates all sales opportunity-based activities including but not limited to technical presentations, financial proposals, customer references and site visits, positioning Siemen’s solutions versus competitive options, equipment demonstrations, contracting and negotiating, and working with customer throughout the implementation process when the sale is closed.
• Exhibits keen Customer Relationship Management skills utilizing Siemen’s CRM systems to insure appropriate Sales Funnel Activity, Opportunity progression through the funnel, and Sales Forecasting. Will complete individual activity tracking and business review reporting as requested.
• Sales Specialist will work in the DX sales force to develop newly installed customers into reference accounts for the particular Siemens solution. This includes developing and implementing plans to exceed revenue/growth expectations, maximize customer profitability, and insure customer satisfaction/loyalty. Specialist will assist in cultivating long term relationships with key account decision makers.
• Sales Specialist will work cross functionally with other team members from Marketing, Scientific Support, the Technical Applications Organization, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, Experience
• Minimum degree requirement BA or equivalent.
• 3+ years sales experience for diagnostic solutions.
• 75% travel required.
• Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint and CRM tools.
• Individual will possess valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Good proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English is essential
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, Experience
• Clinical Diagnostics- Laboratory sales experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Plasma Protein, Hemostasis, Hematology diagnostic market
• Additional professional education skills desirable,notably highest, demonstrablke, business acumen
• Strong communication and presentation skills are of great importance to deliver a complete, confident message to a multicultural and diverse audience (employees/peers, physicinas, nurses, C-suite/purchaising and other medical professionals)
• In depth knowledge of the Italian market and confident connection to relevant key opinion leaders is essential to be successful in this covered role
• Preferably located into the regions assigned
