Job Description:
What is the Sales and Marketing Development Program?
The Sales and Marketing Development Program (SMDP) is a Full Time, 14-month development program where you will complete a rotation in four different energy-related organization within Siemens or one of their Joint Ventures and this program is designed to create a sustainable career path within Siemens!
You will be specifically focused on products and services related to Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, and/or Digitalization. Each of the four rotations will be three-months in duration. This is a full-time position with benefits (see below for more information on your benefits).
With Siemens' team of owners as your guide throughout the program you will develop and fine-tune your technical and commercial competencies in both the sales and marketing fields. In addition to rotating through four energy related businesses, the program will assist in preparing you for a permanent position within Siemens by providing more than eight weeks of training.
You will be provided training on such as formalized on-the-job training, business and technical workshops, and numerous networking events enabling program participants to understand the business and establish a solid network within Siemens. Upon completion of the program individuals will become an integral part one of the Siemens Technical Sales / Marketing Departments or Field Sales organization.
Who should apply?
·You are willingly ready to relocate to Orlando for the duration of the program
·You are willing to relocate to cities outside of Orlando for any number of the four rotations.
·You are able to start in January 2020 or July 2020.
What qualifications are required for candidates of the Sales and Marketing Development Program?
·Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial/System Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Chemical Engineering, Business, or Marketing/Sales (with technical or engineering experience).
·Minimum GPA: 3.0 preferred
·Relocation and Travel: Must be willing to relocate and travel as required by program.
·Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.
