Job description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is aleading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture ofproducts across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships,space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily livesare being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) software.

Job Overview: The candidate will play a pivotal role in growing our marketpresence within the Startup Industry vis-à-vis A&D, Auto, Logistics &Clean Energy. This individual will be responsible for identifying andchampioning business opportunities, qualifying new leads, building positiverelationships with partners with key customers, and driving revenue growththrough sales of our digitalization solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis: (MarketPlan / Clusters / Potential / …)

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Global Team to understand global trends and strategies in startup arena and modulate & replicate them in India.
  • Analyze competitors and market dynamics to develop effective sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Design & Manufacturing Technology!
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our digitalization solutions and the value proposition for Startup Verticals.
  • Clearly articulate Solution features, value and benefits to potential clients.

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Startup Ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with partners, marketing teams to develop targeted lead generation initiatives.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, seminars, partner initiatives, and networking events.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers within startup businesses and partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, conduct needs assessments and consultative sales meetings to understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions.

Sales Presentations:

  • Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations to showcase the benefits of our digital solutions.
  • Customize presentations based on client needs and difficulties!
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.

Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and prioritize a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing of deals.
  • Utilize CRM tools to supervise and report on sales activities and progress.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a detailed customer experience.

Key Skills:

  • Agility of working in small and medium business environments.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong communication and social skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
