Job description

We are looking for a customer-oriented person with an interest in reporting to join our logistics team.  

Our team deals with a wide range of logistics activities focused on digitalization and automation. All of these activities are related to each other in some part of the process. 
Therefore, we expect the new colleague to be able to solve tasks and make decisions independently, but at the same time he/she must also be a good team player, able to work closely with other colleagues in the team.

You will be communicating with teammates in Germany on a daily basis, so an excellent knowledge of German is important. We focus mainly on the German market, but you will also occasionally work with Siemens business units elsewhere in Europe and global suppliers - so a communicative knowledge of English is important. 

You will be primarily involved in:

  • Managing the central LP2 database - logistics invoices transmitted electronically.
  • Downloading data files from this database.
  • Creating reports and working with them in order to evaluate the accuracy and quality of data according to customer requirements.
  • Analyzing existing electronic communication between Siemens manufacturing sites worldwide and logistics suppliers.
  • Coordination between Siemens manufacturing plants / logistics suppliers / LP2 database.
  • Standardization and automation of regular logistics processes.

You should have
  • Very good knowledge of German (B2/C1)
  • Communicative knowledge of English
  • excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills
