We are looking for a Head of Service who will lead the team responsible for designing, managing, and delivering all aspects of Enlighted’s professional services portfolio elements including:

  • Design: Project lighting and IOT design and technical submittals
  • Solution Delivery: Project management, solution integration, commissioning services
  • Customer Support: Customer enquiries and support, troubleshooting, premium support, and value-added services.

This position is based in Cary, NC.

You’ll make an impact as you:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to shift the professional services division towards a profit-centric model.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility for the professional services business, focusing on revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.
  • Assemble and lead a hard-working team across various service functions through effective recruitment, ongoing development, strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Develop pricing strategies for premium support and value-added services to optimize profitability while collaborating closely with sales and account management teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for these services.
  • Align and diversify the professional services portfolio with market trends and customer demands, including the introduction of new value-added offerings.
  • Ensure contract profitability through effective cost containment strategies and processes.
  • Promote excellence in solution and service delivery through best-practice project and management methodologies, including implementation of quality control measures and service excellence standards to consistently meet contract requirements.
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts to promote these services to both existing and new customers.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years overseeing business operations and services in the building industry.
  • 3+ years in an executive leadership role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a role with full P&L responsibility and transitioning service divisions to profit-centric models.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the building technologies industry.
  • MBA or advanced degree.

  • The pay range for this position is $165,410 – $283,560 and the annual incentive target is 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
