SHS EnterpriseServices offers long term partnership agreements with customers allowing us toimplement long term (5, 7, 10+ years) strategic and operational goals throughthe entire Siemens Healthineers portfolio which can include Imaging Equipmentand Services, Diagnostics, Education and Workforce, Digital Solutions,Consulting, etc., for both Siemens and Multi-Vendor install base.

This role will be afinance business partner to the sales team to develop exclusive financesolutions and pricing strategies along with risk adverse reviews to initiatecontract negotiations.

This is a rolewell suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in theircareer. As a Commercial Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developingfinance solutions and pricing strategy prior to the bid phase for our ValuePartnerships.
  • Consideringfinancials, deal structuring, business forecasting, risk review to assist withbid proposals.
  • Usingfinancial modeling and commercial risk management in analysis.
  • Utilizea business calculation model.
  • Drivedigitalization and business model initiatives.
  • Reviewdeals with non-standard terms to ensure viability of discounts & grossmargins.
  • Leadingprotection of company assets, application of control procedures, and financialplanning and reporting within stated guidelines and policies.
  • Buildingeffective business relationships to achieve goals.
  • Providingrecommendations based on advanced root cause and alternative solution analysis.
  • Drivingprofitable growth and transparency as integral part of the proposal team.
  • Developand present TCO models across, service and equipment for the entireHealthineers portfolio.
  • Growingsales and financing programs for customer segments including financialanalysis/deal modeling and deal strategy/structure.
  • Owningcommercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations.
  • Guidingproject teams both within and outside of areas of expertise; demonstrateability to synthesize and process data from a variety of sources and developsingle strategy/direction for the organization.

  • Engagingin a customer facing role w/ C-Suite Customers and SHS Senior executives andstakeholders.
  • Strivingto drive profitable growth and customer retention through the development ofpricing, deal structuring, performance share solutions for the largest IDNaccounts and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s).
  • Understandingand staying abreast of current Value Partnerships and Multi-Vendor MedicalImaging market conditions and the competitive landscape.
  • Mostcontracts/bids require an understanding of the entire Healthcare businessincluding all associated pricing models. Individual IDN deals, which are beingnegotiated with financial, customer facing support from this position, carry anaverage of $5M to $30M in annual revenue, which agreements under this positioncan determine revenues of up to $50M to $500M in a single negotiation.
  • Collaboratingwith sales to assist with development strategic account planning across allBusiness Areas of Healthineers. Strategic planning and development of proposalsand the interplay between GPO, IDN, and IDN subnetworks is a key element in thescope of this role.
  • Interactingwith many organizational layers and company disciplines including: SeniorManagement, Strategic Corporate Account Executives, Field Sales, BusinessManagement, Zone Management, Siemens Financial Services, Legal Services, andAccounting. Customer interaction spans from Director to C/VP-Level personnelfrom national IDNs and GPOs.

Required skillsto have for the success of this role:

  • BS/BAin related discipline or advanced degree.
  • 8-10+years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration ofresponsibilities as presented above.
  • Advanceddegree may be substituted for experience, where applicable.
  • Demonstratedextensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to thesuccessful completion of complex assignments preferred.
  • Demonstratedcomprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues facedand contributes to problem resolution of those issues preferred.
  • Experiencein Long Term Value Partnerships and/or Multi-Vendor market would be a plus.
  • Abilityto understand and communicate complex financial concepts including rate ofreturn, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expenseperformance comparisons. Conforms to accounting guidelines.
