Siemens Fort Worth is looking for a Buyer to join their team. The position is responsible to ensure raw material availability for our fabrication area to be able to meet customer orders on time in the most cost-effective way to meet our financial targets as well. It also supports and drives actions to improve raw material accuracy.


**This person will work from the office 6-8 months then will go to Hybrid**


You will make an impact by:
- Manages MRP via SAP and placed Purchase Orders with internal and external vendors
- Develops an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
- Works along with production and planning teams to ensure that all deliveries satisfies the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products on a timely matter
- Problem solving: Effectively escalates any supply issue to the right person in the organization
- Reviews SAP master data including minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records and provide forecasting as needed, etc.
- Evaluates the current supply chain and improves it by working with our corporate resources
- Analyzes large amount of data to develop sourcing strategies by component and supplier (Plan for Every Part)
- Responsible for meeting the inventory targets, delivery reliability and cost saving initiatives for the site.
- GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) discrepancies and late purchase order processing.
- Works closely with production, planning and customer service to fulfill the customer requirements.
-Support raw material quarter counts.


You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree although candidates with varying degrees will also be considered based on experience. A combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered in lieu of a BS degree.
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience with MRP system in manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office.


Preferred Skills:
- Advanced hands on knowledge of SAP.
- APICS CSCP and/or CPIM

• The pay range for this position is $52,990 - $90.840. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
