Business Development Manager – Data Center & Semiconductor – Remote US (NE or Midwest Preferred)

This role involves developing the Medium Voltage product portfolio for Data Center and semiconductor verticals. It also entails supporting the US sales force as a liaison. The product range includes Medium Voltage switchgear, Motor Control, Power Equipment Centers, Distribution transformers, protection, automation devices, and other related products for complete electrical substation solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. This position will be Remote within the United States.
The Business Development position drives profitable sales growth, emphasizing technical specifications and account influence. Responsibilities include planning, demand creation, specification influence, target penetration, promotions, collaboration, budget proposals, opportunity management, training, and accurate forecasting. Daily client interaction and assistance in meeting annual targets are also expected.
You’ll make an impact as you:
- Contact clients and become actively involved during the sales and execution phase.
- Help the business unit with setting up annual Vertical targets based on the market dynamics and then later help business unit to successfully meet the set targets.
- Provide accurate monthly forecasting of the projects in the pipeline.
- Serve as a liaison, supporting Sales Account Managers, Channel agents, and others who lead End Users, Electrical Contractors, and EPC firms. Additionally, you'll provide marketing advice and leadership to enhance overall market effectiveness.
- Develop account development plans (market analysis and definition of strategic objectives, transparency through acquisition of projects in the CRM tool.
- Manage the technical support for the customer in terms of the products and their integration into power supply systems, support for prequalification processes at the Key and Focus Accounts.
- Support various project management activities.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of business development / technical sales experience in the Data center and semiconductor verticals and driven product knowledge of MV Switchgear
- 3+ years of experience in working with all types of Medium Voltage power electrical distribution systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Basic Knowledge of ANSI - NEMA standards.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including some international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s in Business Administration.
- Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards.
- Fluent in Spanish.

- The pay range for this position is $88,340 - $151,440 and the annual incentive target is 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
