Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Production Planner you'll play a pivotal part on our production team. Analyzes customer independent demand and assists in developing master production schedules
accordingly.
This position contributes to our vision by:
• Synchronizes supply plans per demand to ensure smooth flow of material while maintaining
optimum inventory levels.
• Collaborates with cross functional groups, such as Purchasing, Production, Manufacturing
Engineering and Quality to expedite orders or resolve issues that might potentially impact on-time
delivery.
• Plans and coordinates material transfers to support after-market spares and R&O sales,
plans/manages inter-company material transfers to meet production and sales needs.
• Assists in the establishing bill of material effectivities and assists in implementing engineering
changes for parts in production, ensuring smooth phase-in plans without interrupting material
supplies.
• Participates in production meetings with other functional groups within Operations to discuss
weekly/daily schedules, material shortages and priorities for manufacturing.
• Generates reports to provide order status, track performance or convey issues.
• Investigates and analyzes root causes of issues indicated by below goal key performance indicators,
develops and follows through with corrective actions pertaining to planning function.
• Interfaces with sales/Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) to quote lead times, provide status,
and assist in accelerating orders and resolving problems for customers.
• Works with Product Line Coordinators to prioritize manufacturing orders and expedite critical parts
on the shop floor.
• Closely interacts with Purchasing to coordinate expedites of critical parts.
• Works with other personnel in cross-functional process improvement teams for specified tasks
assigned by management
• Other duties as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is between $70,310 - $91,870 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree ; a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a
• manufacturing environment and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and professional
• knowledge. APICs certification and aerospace experience is strongly preferred.
• Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals,
• financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from
• customers or members of management.
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms,
• quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as
• frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation
• techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
• Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and
• deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Solid
• Work/CATIA Viewer Design software; MS Project and SciForma Project Management software; MS Excel
• and Word software.
• Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit;
• use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently
• required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and climb or balance.
