Job description

Objective:

Test electrical wire harnesses manually and with the use of standard and special test equipment, while complying with Customer's specifications and standards.

Detailed activities:

Carry out the connection and disconnection of products on test equipment in accordance with quality specifications;

Execute the troubleshooting and high‑voltage test program in compliance with safety rules;

Ensure the implementation of test operations and test procedures that guarantee conformity of the manufactured product;

Perform pre‑test operations including connection to the tester interface;

Ensure the implementation of special precautions and prerequisite conditions;

Identify all product/equipment/parameter defects on a Non‑Conformity Report

Analyze test results and verify any required rework;

Carry out tests until zero defects are achieved after defect correction;

Perform post‑test operations including disconnection, additional manual testing, and specific checks;

Validate test steps on the appropriate documentation;

Participate in the deployment of the energy management system by complying with energy consumption optimization instructions at the workstation;

Propose ideas aimed at reducing energy consumption;

Maintain test tooling in good working condition, ensure level 1 maintenance.

Able to pass and maintain Electronic Technician Certification / High voltage certification

Candidate skills & requirements

Knowledge and use of test measuring devices: Digital and Analog multi-meters, Hi-potential test instruments, AC/DC power supplies, and oscilloscopes. – Basic

Comprehensive knowledge of electronics: electrical theory, Ohms law, series and parallel circuits, AC/DC circuits, capacitance, inductance, and impedance. – Basic

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, shop aid paperwork, and specifications.

Computer literacy with Microsoft operating system

Demonstrated capability of resolving issues

Ability to adapt to continuously changing work conditions

Work overtime when necessary to meet schedule commitments, work in shifts

Lifting of products up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing, sitting and walking. Frequent bending, stooping and stretching. .
