Safran Electrical & Power designs and delivers advanced electrical systems that power the world's aircraft. As a Quality Engineering Specialist, you will support and improve quality processes to ensure products meet internal requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory standards. This role is well‑suited for a mid‑level engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality processes to ensure product conformity and regulatory compliance
Supporting manufacturing, rework, and rebuild activities through process evaluation and improvement
Conducting root cause analysis and supporting corrective and preventive actions for nonconforming products and processes
Performing audits, inspections, and approvals of products, processes, and measurement systems
Applying statistical methods and quality tools to monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement
Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to strengthen the Quality Management System
What You'll Do
Evaluate manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and workstation layouts to improve quality and efficiency
Analyze product definition, configuration, and specification changes for quality and manufacturing impact
Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) and cost‑of‑quality initiatives
Develop and maintain quality and manufacturing documentation, including procedures, work instructions, control plans, and PFMEAs
Participate in design, product, and process reviews to ensure producibility, inspectability, and reliability
Prepare and present quality metrics, performance reports, and analysis to cross‑functional teams
Provide training, coaching, and guidance on quality systems, tools, and methodologies

Candidate skills & requirements
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (preferred)
3–5 years of experience in quality or related engineering roles
Aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, or operations experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Quality Management Systems (AS9100 or similar)
Root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
Statistical process control and data analysis
Internal and/or supplier auditing experience
Ability to develop and interpret PFMEAs, control plans, and process documentation
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross‑functional teams
