Job Summary
The Project Management Officer (PMO) supports the Transfer Project Manager in executing complex industrial transfer projects related to MRO activities. The PMO ensures robust project governance, planning, cost control, risk management, and performance monitoring to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives while maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and customer satisfaction. This role acts as a key coordinator across cross-functional teams including Industrialization, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure successful transfer execution aligned with Safran Group methodologies and standards.
Essential Job Functions:

Support project managers in achieving project QCD targets through structured monitoring and control.
·
Develop, consolidate, and maintain detailed project planning, including critical path and risk-adjusted timelines.
·
Define and track project KPIs aligned with site and Transfer Factory requirements.
·
Coordinate and facilitate project reviews to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
·
Manage project risks and opportunities, including identification, mitigation plans, and follow-up actions.
·
Monitor project costs including actuals, forecasts, and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
·
Perform technical-economic analysis including budget vs actuals and scenario planning.
·
Ensure data accuracy and reporting reliability across planning, cost, and risk dimensions.
·
Coordinate cross-functional activities including:
o Industrialization and process deployment
o Production transfer and ramp-up
o Supply chain readiness and logistics flows
o Supplier and purchasing alignment
o Quality planning and non-conformance management
o Manufacturing engineering readiness and work instructions
o Production setup and capability validation
·
Ensure compliance with Safran “One Project Management” standards and tools.
·
Interface with the SED Transfer Factory to align methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
·

Travel Specificity:
Domestic and international travel up to 25%.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position and occasionally move about the office and laboratory. Constantly operates and use a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier/printer and laboratory machinery. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. The ability to observe, identify and assess details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds across office for various needs.
Work Environment:
The work environment is split between office & laboratory work, with most work being performed in the office. Noise level in the office is typically quiet while the noise level in the lab can occasionally require hearing protection.
Experience in relevant Business sector:
Experience within aerospace industry is plus but not required.

Required Competencies:
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:

3–5 years of experience in project management or PMO experience
·
Proven history of managing projects within deadlines and budgets.
·
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
·
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
·
Project management certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of project management tools (Planisware, MS Project, or equivalent).

Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel, VBA, and Power BI.

Ability to develop and interpret project schedules, cost structures, and KPIs.

Understanding of industrial operations, MRO environments, or transfer activities preferred.
