This position contributes to our vision by:

 Supervise and coordinate work activities of inspectors

 Ensure proper communication on quality matters

 Coordinate with production to ensure quality support and coverage is available as needed

 Responsible for the coordination of tool calibration

 Analyse contractual, product definition, and specification requirements for the development or modification of methods, procedures and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are attained.

 Analyse and provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment

 Define and implement actions to measure, improve and report product quality.

 Ensures that resulting processes provide for configuration management.

 Participate in design and product reviews to ensure that predictability, inspectability, reliability, safety, quality system integrity and business process management objectives are met.

 Perform root cause analysis.

 Facilitate and/or is a resource for corrective actions that have been assigned to other functions.

 Support and perform internal/external compliance/performance audits

 Maintain metrics to measure quality performance

 Document discrepancies and propose improvement actions to avoid recurrence

 Ensure customer complaints are responded to in a timely and effective manner

 Support and train other functions as needed to ensure risks of rejections are minimized

 Write, review, revise and approve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation

 Maintain QMS and process requirements

 Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;

 Regular, predictable attendance is required;

 Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

 Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

 2-5 years Quality experience with progressive levels of responsibility.

 Supervisory experience preferred.

 Aerospace wiring experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

 Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, including a high level of common software and computer literacy

 Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

 Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

 Must have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
