Job description

An interesting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading media and entertainment company that inspires the audience through quality content and objective news, while valuing innovation, partnership, and responsibility. We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join this organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts complex financial analyses and prepares performance reports, providing relevant insights for business decisions.
  • Coordinates the process of collecting, validating, and analyzing financial and operational data, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information.
  • Monitors financial performance (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet), analyzes deviations from budget and forecast, and proposes optimization measures.
  • Develops financial models, scenarios, and predictive analyses for investment evaluation, cost optimization, and support for strategic decisions.
  • Acts as a financial partner for business areas, providing consultancy and recommendations based on financial and operational analyses.
  • Assesses the financial impact of strategic initiatives, investments, and procurement processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and risk reduction.
  • Prepares market and competition analyses and develops executive materials for management and the board.
  • Actively participates in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes and contributes to improving reporting methodologies.
  • Supports initiatives for the digitalization and automation of FP&A processes, contributing to the implementation and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Business Operations, Management) for the implementation of financial transformation and optimization projects.
  • Contributes to the standardization of processes, promotion of best practices, and continuous development of the FP&A team.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience (minimum 5-7 years) in FP&A, controlling, or financial analysis in a complex environment, preferably multinational
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet, including the correlations between them
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and the ability to interpret their impact on financial reporting
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Ability to transform financial data into relevant insights and recommendations
  • Experience in business partnering with non-financial stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the preparation of executive materials
  • Experience using ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools (Power Query, Power Pivot)
  • Solution-oriented and business impact focus, with collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
