Finance Transformation Analyst

Job description

An interesting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading media and entertainment company in Romania. We are looking for a Financial Transformation Analyst to join this organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and optimisation of ERP/EPM/BI systems projects, including testing, validation, and defining business requirements.
• Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports, data models, and self-service reporting solutions.
• Automate financial and reporting processes using technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Python, VBA, or equivalents.
• Conduct advanced financial analyses (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet), identify trends, and formulate recommendations for management.
• Build financial models, scenario analyses, and what-if/sensitivity analyses to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business teams to transform business needs into data-driven reporting and analysis solutions.
• Contribute to the digitalisation and transformation of the FP&A function by standardising reports, optimising processes, and implementing innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in financial analytics, finance systems, Finance Transformation, BI development or similar roles
• Practical experience in ERP implementation and usage projects (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Experience in developing dashboards and data models in Power BI
• Experience in automating financial processes and working with large volumes of data
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and financial data structures
• Experience in SQL and/or other query and data processing languages
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot)
• Ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
• Analytical thinking and a focus on data-driven decision making
• Advanced cross-functional collaboration skills

Desired profile

5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, financial systems, financial transformation, BI development or similar roles.
