Training Manager, East

Reports to: Commercial Director, Americas
Role Overview
Part of the Commercial Department, the Training Manager, East will be in charge of driving our sales team across the East market. You will define and implement the training roadmap aligned with the Maison’s strategic business plan and will focus on upholding service excellency and enhancing client experience in our boutiques.
Responsibilities
• Driving training plans, with blended in-store field coaching initiatives, individual coaching sessions and in-class trainings.
• Monitoring the efficiency of training and achievements while individualizing development action plans.
• Partnering with Sales leaders and boutique managers across the region on training partnerships and local action plans.
1. UNDERSTAND TRAINING NEEDS & PROACTIVELY DESIGN RELEVANT TRAINING PLANS
• Become a strong business partner & key contributor on global and regional projects, including local retail initiatives
• Defining local yearly training roadmap, in line with HQ guidelines & market strategic priorities, building a long-term vision for team growth & development.
2. IMPLEMENT, PLAN AND FACILITATE TRAINING AND FIELD COACHING SESSIONS
• Drive in-class & in-store field training sessions & individual coaching to enhance skills, performance & motivation, regarding:
• Brand knowledge, watch expertise & luxury culture
• Clienteling/selling soft skills (emotional intelligence and managing client expectations)
• Key profiles empowerment/retail leadership and management upskilling
3. MEASURE TRAININGS AND COACHINGS IMPACTS, FOLLOW-UP, AND TRACK PROGRESS
• Establish a strong partnership with Commercial Directors and Boutique Managers to secure day to day coaching follow up while providing guidance and support
• Proactively adjust and enhance actions and programs
Qualifications
· 5-7 years in the luxury industry with proven field experience within luxury boutiques, of which 3+ years in retail training
· Excellent communication skills with vast intercultural competences and a collaborative and empathetic mindset; strong public speaker, ability to motivate and inspire audiences, eager to share field expertise to make others shine
· Motivated by people development, retail & overall sales-related projects. You are passionate about retail, relationships, building on a strong emotional intelligence & a value business-oriented mindset
· Driven by impact & performance culture
· Self-motivator, works autonomously with good organizational skills, capacity to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Knowledge of Office tools (especially PowerPoint & Excel)
· Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish a plus
· Open to travel extensively, throughout N. America (occasionally Mexico), at 50-70% of the time

Expected Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000
Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
