Established in London in 1814 Purdey are today world renowned for the finest craftsman made side by side and over and under shotguns and double barrel and bolt action rifles, each one fully bespoke to their client's specifications and needs. Purdey's exclusive range of men and women's shooting and country clothing and accessories reflects the same attention to detail.

Purdey are currently seeking a Gun Room Assistant to join Audley House; with the purpose of maximising sales revenue for guns and rifles as well as the Purdey – Service & Repairs Operation.

This individual must have a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service at all times and represent the Maison to the highest standard, acting as a Brand Ambassador.

 

Key Accountabilities:

·  To form part of the Gun Sales team with responsibility for new customers and developing the existing customer base of Purdey
·  To promote the sales of new and second-hand guns, rifles
·  To provide an outstanding, efficient and pro-active service to customers on the service and repairs of their guns. Focusing on excellent communication with the customer and factory alike so as to ensure the prompt delivery of all works
·  Act as an Ambassador for the Company at Events and Exhibitions in the UK and Overseas
·  To ensure that all Company systems and procedures with regards to the RFD / CRM and service and repairs are followed entirely and accurately
·  Maintain relevant procedures in relation to the support and maintenance of the Firearms Register and Firearms Legislation
·  Be aware of and compliant with import and export requirements specific to firearms
