HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Director of International eCommerce is responsible for driving the success of the Ecommerce business and leading the digital growth strategy across international markets for Peter Millar and G/FORE, which currently includes the UK and EU. This role serves as a critical bridge between regional consumer needs and the broader global digital vision. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and regional expertise to drive digital performance, improve customer experience, and unlock new market opportunities. They will influence the global roadmap, advocate for regional capabilities, and define what’s needed to scale efficiently and sustainably.
Digital Strategy & Execution
· Lead and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that aligns with global brand goals and drives growth across the region.
· Own and manage the digital P&L, identifying drivers of revenue, profitability, customer growth and KPI expansion.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
· Develop and manage the channel financial plan, including sales targets and investment planning in alignment with regional objectives.
· Partner with finance and demand planning to update in-season forecasts, track performance to budget and identify risks and opportunities throughout the fiscal year.
· Collaborate closely with merchandising and demand planning to ensure assortment mix and inventory availability meets the needs of regional consumers, to achieve growth ambitions.
Digital Capability & Roadmap Influence
· Act as the voice of the international consumer, influencing the prioritization of platform features, integrations, and capabilities.
· Collaborate closely with the US-based digital leadership team to shape the roadmap in support of local needs.
· Establish a scalable approach to regional expansion — defining criteria such as consumer demand, operational readiness, marketing support, and technology capability.
· Recommend and evaluate regional technology partners and platforms to support sustainable growth.
Customer Experience & Site Optimization
· Deliver an exceptional online shopping experience by optimizing UX, merchandising, content, and conversion strategies for the region.
· Utilize analytics to track performance, customer behaviour, and marketing effectiveness.
· Partner with global teams to implement merchandising strategies and site improvements tailored to customer behaviour.
Digital Marketing & Retention
· Ensure media, lifecycle, and promotional strategies are relevant and effective in each market.
· Track and report on KPIs, channel performance, and customer behaviour to inform ongoing strategy.
Leadership
· Build, lead and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to gain support for channel initiatives and resource allocation.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
· Strong experience leading digital commerce – including an international or regional leadership role.
· Proven success driving eCommerce growth in international markets (EMEA preferred); strong understanding of localization, logistics, and regulatory nuances.
· Experience influencing or shaping global product and technology roadmaps to support regional needs.
· Strong commercial acumen with ownership of eCommerce P&L.
· Deep understanding of digital platforms (SFCC preferred), analytics tools, and third-party tech stacks (payments, translation, tax, personalization).
· Demonstrated ability to define scalable expansion strategies and go-to-market plans for new regions.
· Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
· Passion for customer experience, brand storytelling, and innovation in the DTC space.
