The recruited person will be an essential part of the Fashion Accessories Management team based in Milan and will be in charge of production planning and monitoring for the bijoux/textile and soft accessories categories in close collaboration with the Paris HQ team for the management of production orders. He/she will be in charge of managing finished product manufacturers by visiting them periodically across Tuscany and Lombardy and will be the point of contact for managing product master data entered into SAP and monitoring manufacturer performance data.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
You Will Be In Charge Of:
Production planning & progress monitoring for bijoux/soft and textile accessories
Visiting periodically external production laboratories based in Tuscany & Lombardy
Verifying the feasibility of the advanced order plan with suppliers and uploading the confirmation file to the system;
Discussion with the Industrialization and Quality teams for production unlocks and for the management of production criticalities;
Support suppliers in purchasing materials needed to ensure the continuity of the production flow
Planning and coordinating raw materials procurement activities in collaboration with development, industrialization and leather goods procurement team,
Participation in meetings between Industrialization team in Florence and HQ team (Merchandising/ Development - Paris) to share information on production progress and new orders,
Product Master Data monitoring and updating through the use of SAP/PLM during the industrialization phase
Monitoring orders placed by HQ team to ensure on-time delivery
Elaborating and monitoring of supplier KPIs and creation of reports;
Ensure suppliers compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
2+ years of experience in a production planning role within the fashion industry for Bijoux, Fine Jewelry and fashion accessories
Degree in Economics/Management Engeenering or equivalent
Bijoux production process and materials knowledge could be a plus
Good command of Excel (Pivot, Cerca_vert etc.)
Good English Level;
Experienced in using ERP/PLM tools (SAP knowledge will be considered as a plus)
Attitude for managing priorities
Attitude to teamwork and problem solving
