We are looking for an experienced Retail Operations professional to work within our Commercial team, driving operational excellence across the Retail network.
Reporting to the Commercial Excellence Manager, the role is instrumental in fostering operational excellence and optimizing processes across all channels.
The role serves as the primary liaison between Office and Boutiques, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations. The Commercial Operations Executive supports the implementation of policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools throughout the retail network and collaborates closely with Boutique Management, Boutique Office Executives, and Boutique Stock Executives. The position also provides support for new retail openings and closings, managing project timelines and checklists to ensure successful completion.
The Commercial Operations Project Executive leads all boutique-related procurement activities, working closely with external partners to optimize supply of all sales materials, uniforms and other orders as required to enhance the overall retail and client experience.

As Commercial Operations Executive your responsibilities will include:
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
· Be the point of contact between the Office and Boutiques, addressing all inquiries related to boutique operations.
· Adapt and ensure the effective communication and implementation of all policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools throughout the retail network.
· In collaboration with the Commercial Excellence Manager, coordinate monthly management meetings for each boutique, meticulously documenting meeting minutes and ensuring diligent follow-up on action items.
· Coordinate and facilitate monthly Backstage meetings for all Boutique Office Executives and Stock Executives, fostering engagement through learning initiatives and the sharing of best practices.
· In collaboration with the Commercial Excellence Manager, champion Continuous Improvement initiatives at both the corporate office and boutique levels, administering solutions and overseeing their implementation.
AUDIT & COMPLIANCE
· Develop and maintain the Boutique Operations Manual, ensuring its regular updates. Collaborate with the Commercial Excellence Manager and Learning & Development to guarantee access, training, and onboarding for all boutique team members on the content of the Boutique Operations Manual and related procedures.
· Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Boutique Operations Manual, proactively optimizing boutique workflows and providing guidance to address and resolve operational challenges.
· Conduct training and onboarding sessions for Boutique Leaders, Stock Executives, and Boutique Office Executives on all daily and weekly controls and checks necessary to ensure compliance with Cartier and Richemont procedures.
· Perform in-person pre-audit checks for all boutiques within the network during each market visit, delivering detailed observation reports outlining identified gaps and areas for improvement, and ensuring diligent follow-up with boutique leaders.
· Coordinate with Boutique Office Executives and Boutique Leaders to consolidate and finalize the boutique audit control KPI file on a monthly basis as well as any other compliance reporting whenever necessary.
PROCUREMENT
· Provide training and development to Boutique Office Executives on uniform and sales supplies lead times, processes, and ordering procedures to meet boutique operational requirements.
· Ensure accurate forecasting of all sales supplies for the region every six months and proactively manage overall sales supply levels for the network to meet operational requirements, including network-level events and new boutique openings.
· Review packaging needs for all boutiques in coordination with Boutique Executives, initiating and coordinating orders as necessary.
· Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in placing orders for all materials from the regional warehouse, including requirements for network-level events and new boutique openings.
· Coordinate uniform orders for all Cartier boutiques, including external boutiques, and ensure an adequate central supply of a uniform buffer locally to meet ad hoc needs.
· Manage ad hoc procurement activities to support boutique operations as directed by the Commercial Excellence Manager.
NETWORK & TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS
Retail Openings/ Closings
· Contribute to new boutique openings and closings in collaboration with Boutique Leaders, providing support with a detailed calendar outlining key tasks and deadlines.
· Support Boutique Leaders and Boutique Office Executives with a comprehensive procurement checklist, vendor creations and placing orders when necessary.
· Participate directly to the project e.g. travelling upstream to set up the boutique, supporting wholesale stock inventory before closure, etc.
RetailOS
· MyAtlas – Spearhead MyAtlas adoption at the Office and Boutique levels by developing a calendar of engaging content throughout the fiscal year, animating a cross-department editorial committee and engaging with Boutique Leaders on KPI reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
· RDV – Champion an appointment-driven culture through RDV adoption. Onboard new starters to enable appointment scheduling and provide troubleshooting support for user issues in collaboration with Boutique Leaders. Contribute to the evolution of the RDV Queue management to improve client experience.
· Drive engagement with Boutique Leaders on KPI reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
· Onboard new retail-level vendors and raise purchase orders (POs) as required.
· Support Boutique Office Executives in onboarding new vendors and raising POs for boutique-level vendors as needed, coordinating training with Finance as necessary.
· Review and coordinate the payment of retail-level vendor invoices with Finance as required.
· Manage RDV appointment timeslots for all internal boutiques on a monthly basis.
· Maintain up-to-date online trading hours for all internal and external boutiques on Yext.
· Lead and drive ad hoc projects as required.

· Diploma / Degree in Business Management or related disciplines.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
· High proficiency in project management methodologies and the Microsoft Office suite; SAP knowledge is preferred.
· Comprehensive understanding of the luxury retail environment.
· Ability to travel regularly within Australia and New Zealand.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure
· Analytical, results-driven, and action-oriented mindset
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
· Resourceful and proactive, capable of operating effectively within established guidelines and limitations.
· High degree of independence, reliability, and trustworthiness.
