The Cartier Women’s Initiative program is composed of four pillars which define our strategy and guide our actions:  

  

1. Our regional and thematic Awards recognize and fund talented impact entrepreneurs from around the world who are leveraging business as a force for good.  

2. The Fellowship aims to provide peer-, industry-, and academic-based educational programming for skills and leadership development and business growth.  

3. The Community gives fellows lifelong access to a vibrant group of impact leaders, creating opportunities for engagement, relationship-building, and the development of social capital.  

4. Our Insights pillar consists of driving an active conversation about women impact entrepreneurs through content curation and research partnerships.  

  

  

What You Will Do:  

  

During the six-month period, the Content and Communications Intern will be involved in the 2025 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative and Women’s Pavilion at World Expo in Osaka. The intern will also have the opportunity to support cross-collaborative projects (that are Diversity, Equity & Inclusion/Women Empowerment/Impact focused), focus on professional development and career growth, and work with colleagues from around the world.  

1. Support the execution and planning of communications strategy for CWI’s involvement in the Women’s Pavilion in Osaka World Expo 2025  

2. Support the social media operations, asset creation and copywriting captions for all CWI social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube)  

3. Conduct monthly reporting for social media channels, website and newsletter  

4. Create the global and community newsletter on a monthly basis  

6. Support coordination between various teams (HQ and worldwide)  

7. Support the organization of the 2024 Impact Awards Ceremony and Awards Week in Japan including asset creation around the ceremony, meetings with agencies etc.  

8. Support in reviewing and proofreading various texts for press, internal use and website  

9. Support in managing and updating the CWI website  

10. Support the year-long ‘insights’ efforts of the Cartier Women’s Initiative by creating content around various topics linked to entrepreneurship which includes, interviewing experts within the CWI Community and researching resources for women impact entrepreneurs and topics relevant to impact entrepreneurship 

11. Contribute to updating Salesforce 

 

The intern will be expected to travel to Osaka Kansai, Japan in May 2025.  

  

What you bring to the role:   

  

We are looking for an intern with:  

• a background in business, communications, or international affairs and development a strong interest in the global discourse around women empowerment, social and environmental impact, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.  

• a C2 level of English proficiency (using the CEFR framework for reference). The intern should be able to express herself/himself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.   

• strong writing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.  

• a good eye for design and knowledge of Photoshop/Canva would be a plus.  

• strong organizational skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.  

• experience in social media reporting and knowledge of analytics would be a plus. 

• a good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).   

• a team player with a positive attitude that holds herself/himself and others accountable for the program success.  

• excellent attention to detail.  

• focus on continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
