JOB TITLE:               Buccellati – Korea General Manager

LOCATION:             Seoul, Korea

REPORTING:           CEO, Asia Pacific

The Managing Director is accountable for the P&L of the local business and for the development and delivery of the strategic growth plan for Korea. Main tasks are to transmit the global Brand strategy into local Marketing & Distribution concepts and supervise its implementation, building the image of the brand, developing the Sales budget and taking the responsibility for its achievement. Furthermore the Managing Director is representing the brand and company in Korea to external, as there are amongst others authorities, contractors and press.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Achieve Korean boutiques and potentially Travel retail P&L objectives:

· 
·  Define with regional management sales objectives and key elements of P&L (salary, expenses,…)
·  Continuous execution of the brand strategyDaily follow-up of sales and reporting to regional management    
·  Monthly follow-up of P&L performances (analysis, action plan)       
·  When necessary, handle personally sales at boutique                          
·  Control discount to clients (strategy, action plans)                                 
·  Handle salary packages (salary, incentives) of sales staff                     
·  Assortment: handle model stock and management pieces allocation to boutiques
·  Handle exhibitions and boutique sales events
·  Manages development of Travel Retail and collaborates with partner to align them to our quality and service standards (model stocks, replenishment, selling ceremony, training etc.)
·  Potentially develop digital sales
·  Ensure fulfilment of Buccellati and Richemont Compliance regulations

 

 

2) Boutique management: provide the prestige environment and level of service:

· 
·  Propose boutique strategy (yearly, for Business plan)                           
·  Merchandising: optimize windows displays according to international guideline
·  Oversee new boutique projects with architect and contractor teams                         
·  Boutique environment: music, shopping experience,                            
·  Service: propose and conduct service improvements                           
·  Be warrant of the boutique procedures (inventory, administration)
·  Maintain good relations with boutique properties landlords or management         
·  Watch competitors (product, retail development,)                                
·  Handle capex  budgets

 

3) Team Management: manage the managers, train and animate the team:

· 
·  Propose retail team strategy (yearly for business plan)
·  Boutique staff: handle recruitment and changes
·  Integration and training: define training program (products knowledge, competences)
·  Set objectives to boutique managers and conduct yearly evaluation
·  Animation. Conduct monthly boutique managers meetings
·  Propose and follow salary scheme for all retail boutique staff
·  Follow all retail team performance and contribute to improve
·  Handle marketing and PR budget with the help of one assistant

 

4) Clients management: conduct CRM actions, prospect VIP, bring new traffic:

· 
·  Propose CRM strategy (yearly business plans)
·  Retail events: participate to concept definition and organization
·  Database: be the warrant of the database (quality and quality)
·  CRM: define relational plan and apply
·  Prospecting new VIP: define strategy and prospect personally potential VIP clients
·  Propose and conduct action plans for traffic increasing (cross-marketing, partnerships,…)
·  Analyze CRM actions (ROI, correcting actions)
·  Handle the budgets related to CRM

·  Sales turnover under responsibility: Confidential information
·  Geographical area under responsibility: Korea
·  Number of point of sales: growing network in the next 5 years : 3 boutiques + travel retail network within 3 years
·  Headcounts supervised: Boutique team + 1 assistant helping on commercial, PR and Marketing activities

 

 

JOB PROFILE ( FOR RECRUITMENT PURPOSE ONLY)

·  University graduate with minimum 10 years or above relevant experience preferably in luxury retail or fashion
·  Strong in numbers and attentive to details
·  Strong in project management and presentation skill
·  Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
·  Hands on person capable to take care of team as well as being comfortable selling to VIP customers

Good English a must
