HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

Jaeger-LeCoultre is looking for a Boutique Manager who will be responsible for  our new and exciting boutique opening in Chadstone on the 1st of October 2025. The Person will report to the Commercial Director and dotted reporting line to the Regional Retail Manager. The Person will be responsible for effectively developing boutique sales and directing the team towards excellence in selling by building long term relationship with clients and offering them memorable experience.

 

1: Develop sales leveraging our Maison Identity and history.

 

·  Ensure boutique objectives achievement (turnover, clients, portfolio development)
·  Be an ambassador for the sophisticated elegance of our Maison inside and outside of the boutique
·  Responsible for defining and implementing the business development strategy and boutique action plan in collaboration with Retail Manager and Commercial Director. A special focus will be the high end segment ( <200KAUD)
·  Partner with the CRM Manager to implement clienteling strategies to improve new clients’ acquisition and loyal clients’ retention
·  Become a referent for the Maison, watchmaking know-how and develop general knowledge on the competition
·  Ensure exceptional client experience and maintain the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
·  Develop partnership with external entities to bring new customers to boutique
·  Handle customer repair requests in an efficient and professional manner ·
·  Maintain consistent, uncompromising high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.

 

2: Lead and develop team of excellence

 

·  Lead the team to reach sales targets through boutique floor presence, setting the example.
·  Create and implement individual development plans for each team member, thanks to acute strength assessment and ongoing coaching : 1-to-1 meetings, feedback, and training in coordination with the Training Manager. Plans will be supported by retail KPIs such as sales, transformation rate, average basket and other Retail & CRM targets.
·  Animate boutique through regular team meetings (daily, weekly, monthly etc), ensuring alignment on objectives and promoting best practices.
·  Ensure that administrative and HR tasks are being managed
·  Define sharing of roles and responsibilities in the boutique
·  Actively recruit, maintain talent pipeline, and integrate new team member (Induction, insertion in the team, trial period validation)

 

3: Support Boutique Operations

 

·  Ensure compliance with Group’s policies & enforce Maison’s commercial rules
·  Overview safety & security of the tram, stock & premises
·  Ensure that all operating procedures are strictly adhered to (stock management, product handling, security, audits, financial processes etc) through management of stock and Sales Administrator as well as full sales team

 

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

 

·  5 years of retail management, preferred in luxury watches and jewellery.
·  Ability to develop long-term and sustainable client relationship and business. Proven record of high end sales will be a plus.
·  Ability to represent the brand, to maintain relationship with the watch community, and host in-boutique events with the support and guidance of the marketing team.
·  Demonstrated success with people management skills and team development with diversity, especially in the capacity to assess each team member and implement individual development plan
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  Be available to work retail hours including weekends.
·  Flexible mind-set with the ability to embrace changes and with an appetite to learn
·  Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills required.
·  Ability to motivate and develop team
