Boutique Manager, Harrods
(Permanent, Full-Time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The purpose of the Boutique Manager is to meet and exceed targets by inspiring, managing and coaching the team to commercial excellence. The Boutique Manager will ensure smooth and efficient retail operations by proactively promoting the Piaget brand among clients, Harrods representatives and any other relevant stakeholder.
Key responsibilities:
Achieving and Exceeding Commercial Goals
Responsible for the store turnover and for achieving sales targets by acting everyday on sales to which they may contribute, either directly or by leading and coordinating the sales team.
· By managing product assortment and stock effectively in order to satisfy client’s demand and maximise sales opportunities
· By managing product display and visual merchandising according to Piaget guidelines
· By devising actions to drive traffic / foot flow to the boutique
· By initiating client data analysis and CRM action plans, aimed at acquiring new clients, increasing the yield of existing clients, recapturing dormant clients.
Inspiring, managing and coaching the team to success
Providing a strong sense of purpose, inspiring a cohesive team spirit and motivating the team to performance above expectations.
· Managing and monitoring objectives and areas of responsibilities for each employee to ensure optimal sales, customer service and a smooth workflow
· Sharing Piaget vision, strategy and prospects with team
· Holding daily team brief sessions with management and sales team using all forms of communication available
· Evaluating training needs (e.g. languages, sales techniques, products, service, discount policy etc) or necessary skills upgrade (e.g. cash register process, stocks…)
· Developing a career path for each team member in order to ensure staff retention and development in the right direction
· Providing Brand Director with salary review and performance bonus proposals
· Daily management of the team
Contributing to specific projects and assignments
Embracing projects and assignments aimed at improving the store and driving the business forward
· Recommending plans and implementing action plans for new product / collection launches or for other special themed initiatives
· Developing and implementing (in collaboration with the UK CRM Manager) specific retail marketing activities to drive traffic to the store
· Supporting and managing store and system upgrades
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
· Affinity with Piaget and ability to become a true Brand Ambassador
· Good communication, networking and clienteling skills
· Solid experience in Luxury Goods Retail with relevant management experience
· Department store experience, preferably Harrods
· Commercial acumen and drive for results
· A strong customer focus
· A natural, engaging leader with the ability of building strong, motivated teams
