For its prestigious boutique in Antwerp, Delvaux is looking for an Assistant Store Manager.

Founded in Brussels in 1829, Delvaux is the oldest luxury leather goods House in the world and has never ceased its activities since that date. Delvaux, the inventor of the modern handbag, filed the first patent for a leather handbag in 1908. Among its extraordinary archives of over 3,000 designs, the Brillant (1958), the Tempête (1967), the Pin (1972), and the Lingot (2022) are among Delvaux's most iconic creations.

Located in mythical places around the world, from Saint-Honoré to Bond Street and Fifth Avenue, Delvaux's 60 boutiques are all different. Patented Supplier to the Court of Belgium since 1883, Delvaux has always shared and celebrated Belgian cultural references and values.

MAIN PURPOSE
The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Manager in the daily management of the boutique, the steering of commercial performance, and team management. He/She actively contributes to achieving sales objectives, ensuring excellent customer experience, and implementing the Maison's standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Steering & Revenue Generation
• Co-lead the boutique's commercial activity in collaboration with the Retail Director to achieve and exceed individual and collective sales targets.
• Identify growth levers, analyze performance indicators, and implement appropriate action plans.
• Ensure teams appropriate commercial objectives and monitor their achievement.
Team Management & Development
• Supervise, motivate, and develop the sales team's skills, leveraging HR tools and managerial rituals (briefings, interviews, on-the-floor coaching, etc.).
• Ensure the transmission of Delvaux's values and culture within the team.
• Actively participate in the recruitment, integration, and development of talent.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
• Guarantee an exceptional and personalized customer experience, in line with the Delvaux brand image.
• Train and support the team on sales techniques, product knowledge, and the signature customer journey.
• Implement customer loyalty and development programs (Clienteling).
Image & Merchandising
• Ensure constant adherence to the Maison's visual and operational standards, in line with headquarters' directives.
• Supervise the implementation of collections, maintenance of merchandising, and optimization of product presentation.
Operations & Compliance
• Ensure the proper execution of internal procedures (cash registers, stock, security, etc.) in compliance with Group policies.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters on operational, HR, and logistical matters.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Master's Degree or Equivalent Level
Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.
