As an Ecommerce Trading Analyst at Primark, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and delivery of our Click and Collect trading strategy at a very important time. You will work closely with the Ecommerce Trading Manager, using analysis and commercial judgement to ensure strong availability across the online collection, whilst also keeping stock-holding under control.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, helping to support the deliverables of the digital merchandising, marketing and content teams. As part of the trading team you will provide valuable analysis to a wide range of business stakeholders, enabling strategic and commercial decision making. The knowledge, lessons and insight you share with commercial product teams will help optimise future strategic range development.

As part of the expanding Digital function, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, tenacious, and innovative environment. You will be supported to develop your commercial expertise, additional to critical communication and influencing skills, making you an important asset to the Ecommerce trading team and the wider Digital team.

What You’ll Do as an Ecommerce Trading Analyst
We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:
·  Use reporting sources and analytical tools to maintain a thorough knowledge of the performance of online ranges versus plan, last year and comparable retail performance.
·  Make recommendations targeted at optimising stock-holding, maximising opportunities, and delivering key stock and sales KPIs.
·  Prepare insights and analysis for teams across Digital and the wider business to accelerate a stronger understanding of our online customer base and help optimise future range selections.
·  Build and maintain fantastic relationships with colleagues in adjacent functions, such as Logistics and Retail, ensuring a considered and joined-up approach to stock movement
·  Collaborate with other Digital teams to establish best practices, always proactively seeking improvements and efficiencies in how we access, utilise and distribute data and insights.
What you’ll bring

·  Strong data management and analytical skills, with proficiency in using Excel
·  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
·  Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and self-prioritise workload where needed
·  Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying commercial opportunities and areas for process improvement
·  Demonstrated experience of being a collaborative team player
·  2+ years of experience in an Ecommerce, Analytics or Fashion Merchandising role is desirable
·  Previous experience with web analytics tools
