Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability at Primark
We're responsible for keeping an eye on Primark’s social and sustainability commitments as part of our Primark Cares strategy. What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of departments, markets and skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
· Conducts social compliance audits in Primark supplier factories and produces audit reports.
· Monitors working conditions in new and existing factories.
· Provides support to suppliers, factories, and workers through the approval process.
· Raises awareness about the importance of ethical trading and communicates the company’s requirements.
· Manages and analyses data relating to the role and updates Primark systems.
What You’ll Bring

· Experience in Compliance or Audit with a focus on social Compliance
· Experience in CR and ET and the factory environment
· Factory audit and remediation processes (e.g. SMETA, SA8000, APSCA)
· Excellent organisation/communication skills
· The ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders & across the business IT literate (database, spreadsheets)
