Job Description

Kuehne + Nagel conduct logistics services on behalf of the customer Whitbread, ensuring the safe delivery of chilled, frozen and ambient products to more than 2,500 Costa Coffee, Premier Inns and associated restaurant chain outlets throughout the UK. . Our specialist team continue to grow, develop and deliver the customers' requirements on this demanding and dynamic contract. The successful candidate will be working in the food sector in a fast paced multi temperature environment and is an integral member of the stock team, performing a number of key duties in the areas of allocating pick, booking goods in and managing stock integrity.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  Allocating pick to warehouse operatives

·  Ensuring availability targets are met and any challenges escalated

·  Accurately booking goods in and prioritizing delivery vehicles on site based on availability

·  Providing clear and accurate communications to internal and external stakeholders

·  Producing and sending PODs for suppliers, running and sending EDI orders

·  Ensuring stock integrity is maintained through all chambers

·  Ensuring NSF standards are adhered to in the areas of product returns, stock rotation, product traceability, stock on hold, training and goods in

·  Providing support to KNPS projects and offering support to the ‘Costa International' team

Your Skills and Experience

·  Minimum 18 months experience in stock management

·  Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft office and System usage)

·  Ability to work within a team but also be comfortable to work independently with use of initiative

·  Strong written and spoken communication skills

·  High attention to detail

·  Manual handling and scissor lift preferred but not essential
