Your Role
You are an experienced Software Engineer who knows how to solve challenging problems by bringing domain knowledge, data and code together. You feel comfortable getting input from customers/users to create valuable products. You’ll be a part of the IT Healthcare & Verticals team, which takes care of applications that support the planning, onboarding, and monitoring of sensitive Healthcare shipments which are subject to stricter regulations and require an extra level of care (compared to general cargo). Our systems contribute to the overall goal of delivering with no deviations, making sure Kuehne+Nagel’s Healthcare and other Verticals deliver quality services consistently and efficiently to our customers. You will be playing an active role in systems definition, architectural decision making, and process definitions. You will be in close contact with our business colleagues and contribute continuously to system optimization. Your analytical approach, ability to learn quickly and innovative mindset will be key indicators of success.Your Responsibilities
- Understanding business requirements and translating them into running software.
- Managing the entire product lifecycle - from ideation through specification, prototyping, integration and maintenance.
- Development of our Kotlin/Spring Boot web application, using Angular for the frontend, based on AWS.
- Bring most recent technologies to life on top of an existing application landscape.
- Continuous improvement of our processes and working methods.
